This time – the government offices in Jerusalem, early 1950s.
The declaration of the establishment of the State of Israel, in a document known as the Declaration of Independence, was read by David Ben-Gurion at the old Tel Aviv Museum on Rothschild Boulevard.
Shortly after the establishment of the state, and as a counter-reaction to the UN demand for the internationalization of Jerusalem, at the end of 1949 the Israeli government lead by David Ben-Gurion decided to move the institutions of government from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
For this purpose, mapping and locating suitable areas within the city was conducted, the Jaffa Street area was carefully scanned, but there were not enough areas to accommodate all the institutions of the young state that had just been established.
Since no suitable place was found in the center of the city, a vacant hill was chosen in the west of the city, which was called Givat Ram.
In the future, the main buildings of the three authorities of the State of Israel will be built in the area according to the definitions written in the Declaration of Independence –
The legislature – the Knesset.
The executive – the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Interior, the Bank of Israel, etc.
and the judge – the Supreme Court building.
However, until the beginning of the construction of the government building in Givat Ram, some of the government offices in the city were dispersed.

We live in days of confusion and free hatred, fights between man and his brother, and harsh words are thrown into the air.
We have one country, one country and one people.
We must guard the deposit we received and bought with a lot of blood, tears and sweat, and was the desire of Jews all over the world for generations upon generations.
According to tradition, the Messiah will come on a donkey,
According to Hasidic interpretation, salvation will ride on the (donkey) material-
Lust for money, corruption, bribery and breaking the rules of the game and the law.

It seems that the Messiah is already on his way, and probably in the endless traffic jams, or he has already arrived and is looking for parking – which is also not an easy task.
But what is certain and indicates more than anything that Christ is on the way,
Is that the donkeys are already here, and taking their place, big time.
But the donkey is only the means of transportation, and we, all of us, are already waiting for the real thing.
May we have inner peace between us,
And that the Messiah will come already, and redeem us from our troubles.
But until then – let’s be good to each other, and let’s all protect the only country and the only people we have, and let’s multiply with free love – it’s free.
